Exclusive Interview w/ Sundai
Interviewer: Hi! Hello, it’s nice to have you here with us today!
Sundai: Thank you so much for having me here! I’m super excited.
Interviewer: Why don’t you introduce yourself to start us off?
Sundai: Yes! I’m Sundai, she/her. I blog about anime and manga, physical media and whatever else catches my attention!
Interviewer: How long have you been blogging? And what motivated you to start?
Sundai: Only a few years now! I started in college I think? I needed an outlet for my thoughts and wanted a way to express my creativity in a way that’s not limited by apps like Instagram and other social media. Though, I still use them haha.
Interviewer: Interesting! Do you feel like blogging has been a good outlet for you? Do you feel like you’ve found your ‘voice’ or ‘place’ in the spaces you occupy.
Sundai: I’m still learning. I think I get closer everyday to finding my voice and creating the space I want for myself. It hasn’t been easy, nor have I been the most consistent, but when I reflect and see my progress and feel pride for myself.
Interviewer: That’s admirable and I hope you continue to carve a space for yourself and that your voice becomes your truth. Now, let’s talk about Sundai behind the blog. Who is she and what is she interested in?
Sundai: I love reading manga and playing video games, which I’m sure is not very surprising. But, I also love going out on solo dates! I often visit cafes, bookstores, antique malls whether just to browse or because I’m looking for something specific. Something else many people don’t know about me is that I love horror! I often watch horror movies and occasionally even go to a horror convention.
