Can we take a minute to appreciate the beautiful art from these following series???

I think we’ve all had those times where we’re reading and we come across #that panel or see a page that is just a masterpiece to look at. I’ve experienced those moments way more than I could possibly imagine counting. Recently however, I’ve been dumbstruck by the beauty and creativity of the art I’ve seen in some of the manga I’ve been reading. I’ve wanted to share some, just a few, examples of the art I’ve been enjoying and maybe introduce you to a potential new read!

This story follows Emma, a blind beauty, and the policeman, Aleksander, through their short daily adventures, journal entries and intimate moments together. The pages are all in full color and feature many pieces supplementary artwork.

3. Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii by Asuka Konishi

Yakuza Princess, Yoshino, to create an alliance with a fellow Yakuza family, becomes engaged to Kirishima, grandson of said Yakuza family. At first everything seems sweet, but soon Kirishima reveals a darker side and Yoshino is wrapped up in a new world of drama and danger.

An Ode to Art

I read and read throughout the days. Vibrant pictures caress my eyes and stimulates the senses. As I gloss over foreign phrasing, I linger on every page. The saturated colors, the wide smiles and careful shading, I am in awe and my heart is full. Art is truly beautiful.

Thanks for reading once again. Or maybe, “hello!” for the first time. I’ve shared here, series that I’ve been reading and enjoying more intimately than others. I feel that sharing these with you is like sharing a personal secret of sorts and I hope that you can also find some joy in these. Let’s talk again soon. 🙂
